The shape of the picture is the real shape of the jellyfish; let people feel the realistic of the jellyfish. In order to understanding why of the artist likes to drawing more details of the jellyfish rather than drawing more general, this should be consider the Jenny’s drawing style and her biography. I have been search the information about the jenny, she has been said a sentence “ if you draw it, you will see the whole thing” this means that she likes to drawing the details of the nature  and also she often take her journal with her ,when she travel a place, he will take the notes on her journal.

  4. Hey this is Sarah. You might consider talking more about the tone in this drawing as it seems very important because it makes the drawing 3-dimensional.

It also might be interesting to think about why the artist wrote those words on the drawing. Do those words imply that this drawing is just a casual drawing or is it a formal drawing meant to be published?

It is also interesting how the middle parts of the jellyfish appear to be white at first glance, but then on closer inspection, those "white" bits are in fact made up of a bunch of subtle colors.

    Thank you for your comments.
These are my points of view towards your comments
The words which the artists wrote on the picture. Those words are a poetry which the artist wrote for the picture. And just I mentioned above my analysis, this picture is the formal drawing which the artist wants to draw for the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Also, as I mentioned in my analysis. The artist used to work for the Monterey Bay Aquarium. She loves the nature. So this is the formal drawing. And also published in the book which is called “drawing from the life”.
The white part is very intersting and the artist is so smart .I love this picture.

I will notice about the texture part. But I still think that the lines which the artists use are the big features, because the lines can give the people a kind of movement and freedom of the jellyfish .The movement and freedom of the jellyfish are the most important mood of this picture.
